On September 19, 2025, the Telangana Women’s Cooperative Development Corporation (TGWCDC), in partnership with Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF), inaugurated the Kukatpally Lighthouse Centre, the fourth in Telangana and the first exclusively for young women.
The centre was inaugurated by Ms. Dansari Anasuya Seethakka, Cabinet Minister, Government of Telangana. Sri C. Chandrakanth Reddy, Managing Director, TGWCDC, emphasized the vision of enabling women’s empowerment, while Mr. Arekapudi Gandhi, MLA, Serilingampally, highlighted its role as a safe learning space. From LCF, Ms. Amruta Bahulekar expressed gratitude to partners and Ms. Deepika Kedia shared how the centre is designed as a women-focused, industry-aligned hub for livelihoods.
With support from UBS, the Kukatpally Lighthouse will empower thousands of young women through skilling, mentorship, and career opportunities.
