Today, 21-year-old Biswajit walks into the Jindal Foundation lab with quiet pride. His lab coat is crisp. His ID badge swings gently. ₹24,500—a number that still feels unreal. The financial burden that once crushed his family has finally eased.
Just months ago, this confidence felt far away. At the Angul Lighthouse, Biswajit completed the Foundation Course. He learned to plan his time, set small goals, and use digital tools like MS Word, Excel, and email. These skills made him believe he could build a career.
Rewind further, he was a shy boy from Bardkera village. He was unsure if opportunities would ever reach him. His father could not work. His mother managed the home. The family depended on his elder brother’s meagre income.
Even in those difficult days, Biswajit held on to one dream, to change his life and give his family comfort. Now, as he hands his salary to his mother, he keeps that promise. The journey was not easy, but every doubt and lesson brought him here.
