Empowering Youth Through Data Literacy: From July 28th to August 1st, UBS volunteers conducted an intensive series of Data Literacy sessions at our Tingre Nagar and Kondhwa Lighthouses. Over five days, 98 passionate volunteers engaged with 301 youth, delivering interactive, hands-on learning experiences.
Through practical exercises, group activities, and case discussions, participants explored key concepts such as data collection, interpretation, and visualization. They also discovered how data skills influence decision-making, drive innovation, and support real-world problem solving.
The sessions not only strengthened the youth’s confidence in understanding and using data, but also helped them hone essential skills like teamwork, critical thinking, and career readiness.
