On 19 November, we had the privilege of hosting Mrs. Pavneet Kaur, Additional Municipal Commissioner, PMC, at the Aundh Lighthouse, along with Mr. Bhosekar, Deputy Commissioner UCD and his team. This being her first visit, it offered her a close look at how the Lighthouse model supports youth in building confidence, skills, and pathways to meaningful livelihoods.
During the visit, Mrs. Kaur interacted with young people who have been successfully placed through the Lighthouse centre, listening to their stories of growth and opportunity. She also engaged with students from the ongoing batch, encouraging them to make the most of the learning environment and stay focused on their aspirations.
