The Job Fair in Maharashtra held at Dombivli Lighthouse on 31 January created new hope and job opportunities for many Lighthouse youth. The event was planned to support young people looking for jobs, especially freshers who are starting their careers.

A total of 22 companies took part in the job fair. Around 169 youth attended the event and spoke directly with company HR teams. After the first round of interaction, 42 candidates were selected for the second round of interviews. This shows the strong impact of the job fair and the interest shown by employers.

HR teams came from different sectors such as banking, manufacturing, food and beverage, IT, KPO and BPO, engineering, and retail. They explained job roles, required skills, and growth options to the youth. Many young people felt more confident after speaking with recruiters and learning about real job opportunities.

The job fair in Maharashtra also saw the participation of well-known companies like Bandhan Bank, HBD Financial Services, and Axis Bank. These companies offered payroll-based and salaried job roles. Such opportunities help youth begin stable careers and become financially independent.

Events like this job fair are very important for youth skill development. They connect trained youth with employers and help reduce the gap between education and employment. The Dombivli Lighthouse continues to support youth by guiding them toward the right career paths.

We sincerely thank all partner companies and HR teams for their valuable time and support. Special thanks to the Dombivli Lighthouse team for organizing this successful job fair in Maharashtra and creating a platform where youth and employers could come together.
