Last week, the Hadapsar Lighthouse welcomed 17 volunteers from AllianceBernstein. Their visit was filled with learning, sharing, and meaningful interactions.
Two Lighthouse youth gave them a tour of the center, showcasing the work we do and the activities conducted here. The volunteers then led a session on Financial Literacy, attended by over 45 youth.
They spoke about savings (RD, FD, Bonds), mutual funds, the stock market, types of financial policies, government schemes, and the importance of investment. They also shared their personal experiences with money and savings.
The youth asked questions and shared their reflections, leading to a thoughtful discussion. AllianceBernstein has also invited our students to visit their campus for further exposure — a valuable learning opportunity.
We appreciate the volunteers for taking the time to share their knowledge. The visit was meaningful for everyone involved.
