Business Basic Program with the new Junoon cohort commenced on 21st Dec 2022 in Pune. 19 of the new Junoonis from different trades like, Food, Fashion Designing, and Beauty Parlor Industries are part of the team this year.
On day one, Ninad Deshpande from Dheya kick-started the session by briefly outlining the journey and aims of the program.
Priya Yadav from the first cohort talked about her journey with the Junoon program and how her business scaled up with her efforts and the guidance of Junoon mentors.
The second day was for a business simulation exercise known as ‘The Kite Factory,’ which was conducted by Anand Desai from the Dhyeya team. This was a group activity wherein each team engaged in making kites.
Through this activity, the members got practical knowledge of costing, time management, production, and pricing. They could now relate the outcome to their business activities.
On the third day, Vallabh Chitnis introduced the cohort to basic business vocabulary. The session ended with positive feedback from the cohort; they could now understand the gaps in their current practices.
The program was also attended by Vidhi Singh, Senior CSR Manager, IDFC FIRST Bank, where she interacted with each Junooni and shared her experiences and insight with them.
