On February 28, 2025, Lighthouse Delhi hosted the First HR Industry Conclave, a transformative gathering that brought together 25 employers, 10 skilling and NGO partners, 13 Lighthouse alumni, and 75 participants, including youth from Lucknow.
The event focused on reshaping youth employment and skill development in India.
The conclave featured insightful discussions on the innovative PPP model for skill development, emphasizing partnerships, impact, and empowering youth, especially women. Keynote speaker Nita Pradhan (Chief, DIDAC) highlighted India’s potential to become a global skill hub, while Dr. Mothi Bhardwaj (Senior Manager, Piramal Foundation) shared valuable insights on driving change through collaboration.
Lighthouse Alumni shared their inspiring success stories, showcasing how they have excelled as graphic designers, finance professionals, and more. Discussions revolved around improving training programs, addressing challenges like relocation and soft skills, and bridging the gap between youth and the corporate world.
