We extend our heartfelt gratitude to UBS for its invaluable partnership in establishing the Mallepally Lighthouse, our 42nd center across India. It was an honor to host Mr. Kishore during the Inaugural Lighthouse tour on February 26, and we deeply appreciate the commitment to empowering youth with skills, confidence and sustainable livelihoods.
The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Hon. MLA Majid Hussain, who witnessed firsthand how the innovative PPP model brings together a world-class center. The subsequent public opening on February 28, inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor Vijayalakshmi Gadwal, marked another milestone in our collaboration with GHMC and UBS to create a space where youth can access career counseling, vocational training, and job opportunities.
With this support, the Mallepally Lighthouse aims to equip 2,400 youth over the next three years with the skills and confidence needed for financial independence. The program takes a holistic approach, integrating life skills, job readiness training, mentorship, and direct employer connections.
Additionally, we are excited to introduce Lighthouse Kiran, a specialized early intervention program for adolescents aged 14 to 17. This initiative focuses on social-emotional learning, personality development, and career guidance, helping young minds build a strong foundation for the future.
