On March 16, 2023, the DSEU-Lighthouse in Malkaganj partnered with Harijan Seva Sangh to organize a job fair at Gandhi Ashram in New Delhi. It was a remarkable event, with 317 candidates participating, and more than 75% of them being Lighthouse youth. Fifty-one candidates received on-the-spot job offers, and 175 others were shortlisted for the second round. The fair was attended by 21 prominent employers, including Agarwal Packers and Movers, Tata Croma, Bajaj Capital, SBI Cards, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Costa Coffee, among others. This job fair opened up new avenues for the young participants and provided them with opportunities to kickstart their careers. It provided an excellent opportunity for candidates to interact with employers, learn about new job opportunities, and showcase their skills.
