As a 31-year-old single father, I was struggling to find a stable job and provide for my family. I enrolled at the Foundation Course at the Aundh Lighthouse which provided me the tools and confidence I needed to succeed and provided me with the opportunity to transform my life.
I was struggling with job insecurity and financial instability, but I was eager to learn and grow. At the Lighthouse, I developed skills like emotional management, anger control, and visualisation. The Digital Empowerment and spoken English courses provided me with practical knowledge and improved my communication abilities.
One of the most significant turning points was the ‘Home Chef’ course. It ignited my passion for cooking, and I honed my skills in creating various dishes, including tea masala, different gravy masalas, chocolates, and more. Thanks to this training, I landed a job at Venkatesh Luxe as a Pantry boy and am now earning a stable income.
I am incredibly grateful to HSBC Technology India for supporting the Aundh Lighthouse. I am determined to gain more experience in the home chef industry and eventually start my own business.
