On January 29, we were delighted to welcome delegates from Vanderlande, one of our valued donor partners, to Kasba Lighthouse. Senior leaders from Vanderlande, including CFO Astrid Van Druten, CHRO Veronique Stals, Executive Managing Director Reinoud Selbeck, and VP & Head – Quality & Sustainability Rashmi Chethan, visited the center.
The Vanderlande team engaged in meaningful discussions to understand the challenges youth face in their communities and the positive impact of the Lighthouse program.
Anuja Kishore, CEO of Lighthouse Communities Foundation, explained how family structures influence education and career choices, the importance of family counseling, and how socio-economic structures can affect a child’s emotional well-being. The delegates were also interested in understanding India’s education system and how Lighthouse helps youth build life skills, digital literacy, and job readiness.
