I am Shital Sandip Shinde, a 30-year-old woman from Rasta Peth, Pune. Life has been tough lately, especially with the financial strain and uncertainty. My husband is a police constable, and we have an 8-year-old son in third grade. I wanted to do more for our family.
It started with a Marathi Telecaller job at SBI Bank, selling credit cards. But I knew I could do more. After completing my Master’s in Arts, I struggled to find something suitable. That’s when I joined the fast-track batch at Kasbapeth Lighthouse.
It was a challenge at first. I had language barriers and lacked confidence. Having studied in Marathi medium, I had to work hard on my communication skills. However, with regular mock interviews at Lighthouse, I managed to secure a supervisor position at Metro Gatewell Pvt Ltd.
This job has not only helped me financially but has also given me a sense of accomplishment. I am so grateful for Vanderlande’s support to Kasbapeth Lighthouse. They’ve helped countless youth like me achieve career goals and improve our lives.
