Sonu Kumar Saw’s journey from Patna to Pune is a tale of grit and determination. Despite his humble beginnings, Sonu always had a clear vision of his career path. Growing up, he saw his father work tirelessly as a farmer while his mother managed the household. As the eldest child, he felt responsible for his family’s financial well-being.
In 2008, Sonu’s father migrated to Pune in search of better employment opportunities, and six years later, Sonu followed suit in 2014. Though he had studied in Hindi medium in Patna, he decided to continue his education in English medium in Pune. He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and simultaneously joined Lighthouse to pursue the Accounts Executive course.
After completing the course, Sonu landed his first job as a junior accountant at Metro Global Services Pvt. Ltd. He worked hard, displaying dedication and commitment, and was soon promoted to Financial Analyst. After five years, he moved on to Infosys BPM, where he currently holds the position of Senior Financial Analyst.
Throughout his journey, Sonu has never stopped learning. He recently completed his Master’s in Commerce from Modern College, Pune, and is planning to pursue the Company Secretary course. He has also taken up learning German as an additional skill to further his career prospects.
Sonu’s hard work and perseverance have paid off. Today, he is earning five times what he used to, eight years ago. from earning an unstable average income to making it five times more stable income. He remains humble and grateful for the opportunities that have come his way and continues to strive for excellence in his career.
Sonu’s story is a testament to the power of determination and hard work. It serves as an inspiration for anyone who dreams of a better future and is willing to put in the effort to make it a reality.
